Description:	Years ago it was said that in the near future, the majority of humans would handle more data than machines, this implies a series of alternatives in education, so it opens the way to a field that will have to face multiple factors to face the change demanded by the new social context impacted by an unprecedented technological revolution. The instructional strategies must overcome the traditional theories of learning used for the creation of new instructional environments (NAI). In this context, this paper aims to identifysome factors that affect the curriculum development of the Encyclopedic Curriculum vs. universal knowledge. Hace años se decía que, en un futuro cercano, la mayoría de los seres humanos manejarían más los datos que las máquinas, esto implica una serie de alternativas en materia de educa- ción, por lo que se abre camino a un campo que deberá enfrentar múltiples factores para responder al cambio que exige el nuevo contexto social impactado por una revolución tecnológica sin precedentes. Las estrategias instruccionales deben de superar las tradicionales teorías del aprendizaje utilizadas para la creación de nuevos ambientes instruccionales (NAI). En este contexto, este trabajo pretende identificar algunos factores que inciden en el desarrollo curricular del Currículo Enciclopédico vs el conocimiento universal.
