Description: Cadaveric signs are well-described findings that help us in the chronotanatodiagnostic of death in corpses and their possible modifications in relation to the environment and the cause of death. The objective is to compile and expose, in the most didactic way, all the phenomena for which a death was produced, to make them understandable and useful for those interested as well as for students in the field of Legal and Forensic Medicine, including for investigators and experts. Due to the aforementioned, cadaveric signs are described and analyzed in order to consequently be able to carry out a “basic guide” and to be able to establish the appropriate chronotanatodiagnostic, considering that there are several factors that can intervene in the different types of death from the legal medical perspective.
