Description:	At present, already have a large number of investigations, experiments, regulations, philosophies and standards that help us use ionizing radiationin a safe and responsible manner, so the risks are minimized biological damage from the High Frequency Electromagnetic Radiation. In hospitals worldwide ionizing radiation for the development of diagnostic studies and radio personnel performing these studies used, should have some training and instruction as it is primarily responsible for good management of radioactive material in this article, we’ll make a count or summary of the most important and fundamental radiation protection, with this aspect we refer to the protection not only of occupationally exposed, but also patients and the protection patient goes hand in hand with the protection of the same staff. En la actualidad, ya se cuentan con un gran número de investigaciones, experimentos, reglamentaciones, filosofías y normas, que nos ayudan a emplear la radiación ionizante de una manera más segura y responsable, por lo que se han minimizado los riesgos de daño biológico producido por la Radiación Electromagnética de Alta Frecuencia. En los hospitales de todo el mundo se utiliza la radiación ionizante para la elaboración de estudios de radio diagnóstico y el personal encargado de ello, debe tener cierta capacitación y adiestramiento puesto que es el principal responsable de un buen manejo de material radioac-tivo. En este artículo, nos encargaremos de hacer un recuento o resumen de los aspectos más importantes y fundamentales de la protección radiológica, con esto nos referimos a la protección no únicamente del personal ocupacionalmente expuesto, sino también de los pacientes y es que, la protección al paciente va de la mano a la protección del mismo personal.
