Desde búsquedas de información académica, lectura de noticias hasta pasar horas de ocio. De esa gran cantidad de personas, un porcentaje considerable son personas que padecen de alguna discapacidad visual, motriz o auditiva. Estas personas utilizan herramientas físicas o lógicas que se implementan en sus equipos de cómputo para ayudarlas a navegar en Internet. Este artículo se enfoca en las personas ciegas que navegan todos los días a través de Internet y en el proceso de detección de estos para imprimirles en pantalla un sitio desarrollado especialmente para ellos, cuya intención es proporcionar de funcionalidades que sean de ayuda para que puedan escuchar idóneamente la información hospedada en el sitio.Abstract: Millions of people daily surf the Internet doing various activities that meet their navigation needs. From simple searches of academic information, reading news to spending leisure hours. A considerable percentage of that large population, are people who have a visual, motor or hearing disability. These people use physical or logical tools that are implemented on their personal computers to help them navigate the Internet. This article focuses on the blind people who surf daily through the Internet, also in the process of detection of these to print on the screen a site developed especially for them, whose intention is to provide features that help them to hear properly the information hosted on the siteKeywords: Accessible Internet, Visual disability, W3C, WWW. |
