Description:	This research is framed in briefly addressing some notes on government transparency in Venezuela framed in the global pandemic situation (COVID-19) in the Open Government structure. The methodology is based on a documentary research, where through phenomenology the current situation is observed, through publications in some social communication media. For several authors analyzed, it is estimated that currently Venezuela does not have a transparent system for the publication of data by the entities in charge of it to citizens, either because of the sanctions to which they may be subjected or the harassment they may suffer from the State. La presente investigación se encuentra enmarcada en abordar brevemente unas notas sobre la transparencia gubernamental en Venezuela enmarcada en la situación de pandemia mundial (COVID-19) en la estructura del Gobierno Abierto. La metodología está basada en una investigación documental, donde a través de la fenomenología se observa, a través de las publicaciones en algunos medios de comunicación social, la situación actual. Para varios autores analizados se estima que actualmente Venezuela no cuenta con un sistema transparente de publicación de datos por parte de los entes encargados para ello a los ciudadanos, bien sea por las sanciones a que pueden ser sometidos o al acoso que puedan sufrir por parte del Estado
