Title:	Body and imagination in the healing rituals. The case of the cult of the Child Fidencio Cuerpo e imaginación en los rituales de sanación. El caso del culto al Niño Fidencio

Description:	This work is about the bodily relationship established in the healing rituals of the cult of the Niño Fidencio. In which, patients somatize healing through bodily sensations that they attribute to the divine. My interest is to provide a sociocultural explanation of this phenomenon, arguing that the body perceives its context and generates sensations according to a social expectation established prior to the ritual. El presente trabajo trata la relación corporal que se establece en los rituales de sanación del culto al Niño Fidencio, en los cuales los pacientes somatizan la sanación mediante sensaciones corporales que atribuyen a lo divino. Mi interés es ofrecer una explicación sociocultural de dicho fenómeno, argumentando que el cuerpo percibe su contexto y genera sensaciones acordes a una expectativa social establecida antes del ritual.
