Description:	Reception: October 16, 2017     Accepted: December 15, 2017     The purpose of this paper is to present some reflections on the teaching of rhetoric in Greco-Roman antiquity, a subject that the scholars consider generally well known, but which, if we look more closely, will find that there are aspects that are still to discover and study. The text is structured in three parts. The first provides an overview of the system of teaching of Rhetoric in antiquity; then it presents some clues of new researches about new preliminary exercises (progumnasmata) and revaluation of declamations (suasoriae and controversiae). This study concludes on the interest and applicability of the ancient teaching of rhetoric in today's world. Recepción: 16 de octubre de 2017     Aceptación: 15 de diciembre de 2017     La finalidad de este trabajo es presentar algunas reflexiones sobre la enseñanza de la retórica en la Antigüedad grecorromana, un asunto que los especialistas consideran en general bien conocido, pero que, si se observa más de cerca, se encontrará que hay aspectos que aún se deben descubrir y estudiar. El texto se estructura en tres partes. En la primera se ofrece un panorama del sistema de la enseñanza de la retórica en la Antigüedad; en seguida, se muestran algunas pistas sobre nuevas investigaciones en relación con nuevos ejercicios preliminares (progumnasmata) y con la revaloración de los declamationes (suasoriae y controversiae). Concluye este estudio sobre el interés y la aplicabilidad de la enseñanza antigua de la retórica en el mundo actual.
