| Description: | Después de la conquista de la autonomía, la Universidad Nacional publicó dos revistas en que participaron algunos profesores y estudiantes del área científica. El objetivo del artículo es comprender la participación de los practicantes de la Geografía en Universidad de México y Universidad. Mensual de Cultura Popular en el período 1930-1936. La metodología se basa en los estudios sociales de la ciencia que permiten relacionar a la historia de la Geografía con el desarrollo universitario. Entre los resultados destacan las estrategias de difusión geográfica y su relación con la dinámica científica decimonónica para examinar las rupturas y continuidades temáticas en el siglo XX; los vínculos entre Geografía y Ciencias Sociales; y la participación de distintos practicantes de esta ciencia. Abstract The objective of the article is to understand the participation of the practitioners of Geography in Universidad de México y Universidad. Mensual de Cultura Popular, in the period 1930-1936, after the conquest its autonomy the National University. The methodology is based on the Social Studies of Science that allow to relate the History of Geography with University development. Among the results, the strategies of geographic diffusion and their relationship with Nineteenth-Century scientific dynamics to examine the thematic ruptures and continuities stand out in Twentieth-Century; the links between Geography and Social Sciences; and the participation of different practitioners of this science.
