Description:	This article is part of a sociological analysis of Mexican law to take as a case study the state of Jalisco. The text contextualises the issues facing the profession and analyzes hundreds of firms, law firms and law firms in Jalisco. The intention is chart the order and structure of social relations that are established in this part of the legal field computers to infer some points of law in general in the early twenty-first century. Este artículo se inscribe en un análisis sociológico de la abogacía mexicana al tener como caso de estudio al estado de Jalisco. El texto contextualiza los problemas que enfrenta la profesión y analiza un centenar de despachos, bufetes y firmas de abogados en Jalisco. La intención es trazar el orden y la estructura de las relaciones sociales que se establecen en esta parte del campo jurídico, para inferir algunos puntos ordenadores de la abogacía en general a principios del siglo XXI.
