Description:	The article proposes a reflection on an experience of collaborative ethnography with children and youths of the “Children as Peacemakers” social movement in Bogotá, Colombia. During her fieldwork, the researcher became aware of her own social representations about childhood and how these conflicted with some ethical and theoretical tenets of collaborative ethnography. For this reason, this paper aims to show how collaborative ethnography allows the researcher to shed light on popular wisdom about childhood that still exists and may influence research work with children and youths. El artículo propone la reflexión sobre una experiencia de etnografía colaborativa con niños, niñas y jóvenes del movimiento Gestores de Paz en la ciudad de Bogotá, en el cual la investigadora se percató de sus propias representaciones sociales sobre infancia y del conflicto que tienen estas con la postura ética y teórica planteada por la etnografía colaborativa. Por esto, el texto tiene la finalidad de mostrar cómo la etnografía en colaboración le permite al investigador alumbrar esos sentidos comunes sobre infancia, que siguen vigentes y que pueden determinar su trabajo investigativo con los niños, niñas y jóvenes. L’article propose une réflexion sur l’expérience de l’ethnographie collaborative avec les enfants et les jeunes du "mouvement social des enfants en tant que pacificateurs" de Bogotá. Au cours de son travail sur le terrain, la chercheuse a remarqué ses propres représentations sociales concernant l’enfance et son conflit avec les positions éthiques et théoriques offertes par l’ethnographie collaborative. Pour cette raison, le texte a pour but de montrer comment l'ethnographie collaborative permet au chercheur de voir les significations communes de l'enfance qui existent encore et qui peuvent déterminer son travail d'investigation auprès d'enfants et de jeunes. O artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a experiência da etnografia colaborativa com crianças e jovens do movimento social "Crianças como pacificadores" de Bogotá. Durante o trabalho de campo, a pesquisadora percebeu suas próprias representações sociais sobre a infância e o conflito que elas têm com a postura ética e teórica oferecida pela etnografia colaborativa. Por essa razão, o texto tem como objetivo mostrar como a etnografia colaborativa permite ao pesquisador perceber significados comuns sobre a infância que ainda existem e que podem determinar seu trabalho investigativo com crianças e jovens.
