A review is presented about some police training experiences in gender and human rights based on some texts and narratives of police trainers in the Argentine Republic. It aims to highlight the process of resignification of police work in this country considering the historical context of these efforts since its democratization after the dictatorship and until the presidency of Cristina Kitchner. The text was made taking texts and newspaper articles documenting the events described, which is complemented by the narratives of some women who have participated in these formative processes, all this as a way of learning from Argentina's experience for a future reflection about its applicability to the Mexican case. RESUMEN Se presenta una revisión sobre algunas experiencias de formación policial en materia de género y derechos humanos a partir de algunos textos y relatos de formadoras policiales en la República Argentina. El objetivo es destacar el proceso de resignificación del quehacer policial en este país considerando el contexto histórico de dichos esfuerzos a partir de su democratización posterior a los años de dictadura y hasta la presidencia Cristina Kitchner. El texto se realizó tomando textos y artículos periodísticos que documentan los eventos descritos, lo cual se complementa con las narrativas de algunas mujeres que han participado en estos procesos formativos, todo ello como una forma de aprender de la experiencia argentina para una futura reflexión sobre su aplicabilidad al caso mexicano. |
