| Description: | Washington, D.C. - The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) welcomes the measures adopted by Chile, Colombia, Haiti, Panama, Paraguay and Uruguay to guarantee the right to nationality. The IACHR calls on the States to continue adopting measures aimed at guaranteeing the effective enjoyment of the right to nationality, as well as to prevent and eradicate statelessness in the region.
