Description: | In the present case, the Court verified the existence of a context of disappearances, as well as a pattern of impunity in Mexico during the period under review. This, derived, in part, by militarization as a public security strategy in the “war on drug trafficking” initiated in 2006. In particular, an increase in criminal violence and human rights violations associated with the implementation were credited. of the “Joint Operatives”. These disappearances would have occurred during the implementation of the Chihuahua Joint Operation and the alleged fight against organized crime in the area. |
