Description: Thinking about the concept of democracy in countries that have a religious system like Islam, seems at first sight something that is not very compatible, since the system of government is deeply linked to religious dogma, which is characterized by its severity at the time of imposing sanctions, and that this could even be exclusive with individual liberties. But to think that the basic elements of a democracy could not occur in such an environment, would be to establish that the western model of democracy is the only one that has validity to be classified as such.
