| Description: | Drante el año 1987 se estudiaron las mariposas de la familia Uraniidae en una localidad del municipio de Xalapa, Veracruz, México. Encontrando siete especies representadas en cuatro éneros: Urania Fabricius, Sematura Dalmon, Coronidia Westwood y Anurapteryx Hampson. De éstas, cuatro son nuevos registros para Xalapa: Sematura Iunus (L.), Coronidia Canace Hopffer, C. ocylus Boisduval y Anurapteryx beckeri (Druce). Se enlistas las especies encontradas añadiendo a cada una, su distribución continental y nacional así como su fenología y algunas observaciones. |
