Abstract: This Tesis de Maestría was conducted in a Secondary school located in Zapopan, Jalisco, during the year of 2016. It is an action research, composed by the six groups of the school in the three grades: this is 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B. The three groups “Bs” were the ones that received an intervention, which was composed by five out of ten techniques proposed by Celce-Murcia (2007). The hypoTesis de Maestría is that with the use of five out of ten English Pronunciation techniques mentioned by Celce-Murcia (2007), learners will significantly improve the pronunciation of regular simple past verbs and third person singular simple present tense. The general objective of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the pronunciation techniques for teaching phonemes involved in regular past endings, third person singular present, after having applied five pronunciation techniques with students of this private secondary school.
