Título:	LMS Platforms based on the Cloud: Schoology, Edmodo and Google Classroom Plataformas LMS basadas en la Nube: Schoology, Edmodo y Google Classroom

Descripción:	In this article, we present, categorize and analyze some platforms that belong to the Learning Management System (lms). The main goal of our study is to extend the didactic possibilities in technology so that teachers can use these platforms in their teaching practice, especially regarding the use of the lms in order to facilitate the integration of these tools in the teaching process in virtual modalities. Based on the research using a common searcher on Net, we found out the current availability in the matter. We got information of thirty-eight LSM platforms that were classified according to their type: commercial, open code and based on the Cloud. Afterwards, we analyzed three free platforms based on the Cloud in order to deepen and clarify their general characteristics, their Web usability and the availability of their tools. The results show, in general, the particularities of the three platforms and the possible public that can use them. En este artículo nos hemos propuesto evidenciar, categorizar y analizar algunas de las plataformas actuales de tipo Learning Management System (LMS). El objetivo principal de este estudio es ampliar las posibilidades didácticas en materia tecnológica de los profesores, referente al uso de los lms, para facilitar su integración en los procesos de enseñanza en modalidades virtuales. Con base en la indagación mediante la utlización de un buscador de uso común, se procedió a esclarecer la disponibilidad actual en dicha materia. Se obtuvo información de un total de treinta y ocho plataformas lms que fueron clasificadas según su tipo: comercial, código abierto y basadas en la Nube. Enseguida, se analizaron tres plataformas gratuitas basadas en la Nube con el fin de profundizar y clarificar sus características generales, su usabilidad web y la disposición de sus herramientas. Los resultados muestran, a grandes rasgos, las particularidades de las tres plataformas y el posible público que puede verse beneficiado.
