Título:	Literature tout-monde ? Transnational y Trans Area challenges for LatinCentral American literary studies ¿Literaturas tout-monde? Retos transnacionales y transareales para los estudios literarios latino-centroamericanos

Descripción:	This essay establishes a dialogue between the concepts of transnationalism and TransArea and the studies of Latin American literatures and cultures. It asks if and how it could be possible to make the transnational studies and TransArea Studies, which have been developing, extending and diversifying through the past decades in the felds of social sciences and humanities, productive for the literary studies in and about Latin America, and particularly Central America. It points out the challenges and possibilities, but also the limitations and dangers of the transnational turn in literary studies, which has been addressed recently in a number of essays, especially in Europe, revitalizing and re-signifying the concept of Weltliteratur. Particularly, it questions if and how the concepts of transnationalism and TransArea can open new research paths and produce knowledge on the complex relationship between nation-culture/literature-world based on some theorizations, conceptual proposals and research projects about Latin and Central American literatures produced in recent decades.  El presente ensayo hace dialogar los conceptos de transnacionalismo y de TransArea con los estudios de literatura y de las culturas latinoamericanas. Pregunta si es posible y de qué manera hacer fructíferos los estudios transnacionales y los TransArea Studies que se han ido desarrollando, ampliando y diversifcando en las décadas recién pasadas en diferentes campos de las ciencias sociales y las humanidades, para los estudios literarios en y sobre América Latina, y en particular América Central. Señala los retos y las posibilidades, pero también las limitaciones y peligros del transnational turn en los estudios literarios del que se ha hablado recientemente en algunos ensayos, especialmente en Europa, revitalizando y resignifcando el concepto de Weltliteratur. En especial, indaga de qué manera los conceptos de transnacionalismo y TransArea pueden abrir nuevos caminos de investigación y generación de conocimiento sobre las complejas relaciones nación-cultura/literatura-mundo, a partir de algunas teorizaciones y propuestas conceptuales y con base en algunos proyectos de investigación de las literaturas latinas y centroamericanas realizados en las décadas recientes.
