dc.descriptionThis essay reflects on the geopolitical and economic changes that the covid-19 pandemic will have. Possible transformations in education and education systems, their social, economic and political role in the new global reconfiguration. Based on the assumption of growing inequality between countries, communities and social groups, it is investigated the differential effects that the pandemic will have on the health, educational and socioeconomic systems as a whole. It concludes on the need to strengthen social security systems, including health and education. May the challenges of these times of confinement lead us to revalue the life, health and well-being of people above economic interests.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el presente ensayo se reflexiona sobre los cambios que a nivel geopolítico y económico tendrá la pandemia del covid-19. Las transformaciones posibles en los sistemas educativos y la educación, su papel social, económico y político en la nueva reconfiguración global. A partir del supuesto de la creciente desigualdad entre países, comunidades y grupos sociales, se indaga sobre los efectos diferenciales que tendrá la pandemia en los sistemas de salud, educativos y del sistema socioeconómico en su conjunto. Se concluye en la necesidad de que se fortalezcan los sistemas de seguridad social, incluyendo la salud y educación. Que los desafíos de estos tiempos de confinamiento nos lleven a revalorar la vida, la salud y el bienestar de las personas por encima de los intereses económicos.es-ES
