Description:	This paper has as main purpose to demonstrate the existence of a communion between two approaches of the human rights: their discursive and practical character. Through the struggle for the right to health by the Asociación 22 de Abril in Guadalajara, we seek to exemplify the correspondence between the practical sense of human rights and their emancipatory discourse. Throughout the text, the analysis of the case study outlines a series of elements that sometimes configure both dimensions of human rights and favor the development of the struggle and the discourse. El presente trabajo plantea la existencia de la comunión entre dos abordajes de los derechos humanos: su carácter discursivo y el práctico. Por medio de la lucha por el derecho a la salud por parte de la Asociación 22 de Abril en Guadalajara, A.C. se busca ejemplificar la correspondencia que existe el sentido práctico de los derechos humanos y el discurso emancipador que estos representan. A lo largo del texto, el análisis del caso de estudio esboza una serie de elementos que configuran en ocasiones ambas dimensiones de los derechos humanos y favorecen el desarrollo de la lucha y el discurso.
