| Descripción: | The COVID-19 pandemic has caused municipal governments, due to their proximity to citizens, to react in an emergent way to avoid the different negative effects that have derived from it. In this context, the central objective of the work is to identify and analyze the characteristics of the actions that the municipal governments of Jalisco particularly implemented to respond to the pandemic in the year 2020. Through an exhaustive review in different official information channels, said municipal actions, which were categorized based on their inferred objective and subsequently analyzed based on certain endogenous characteristics of the municipalities and the diversity of responses. Contrary to what might be supposed, the results made it possible to make visible the different and important efforts that most of the municipalities in Jalisco put in place to deal with the pandemic. La pandemia por COVID-19 ha provocado que los gobiernos municipales debido a la proximidad que tienen con la ciudadanía reaccionen de forma emergente para soslayar los diferentes efectos negativos que de esta han derivado. En este contexto, el objetivo central del trabajo es identificar y analizar las características de las acciones que particularmente implementaron los gobiernos municipales de Jalisco para responder a la pandemia en el año 2020. A través de una revisión exhaustiva en diferentes canales oficiales de información se identificaron dichas acciones municipales, mismas que fueron categorizadas a partir de su objetivo inferido y posteriormente analizadas en función de ciertas características endógenas de los municipios y de la diversidad de las respuestas. Contrario a lo que se pudiera suponer, los resultados permitieron visibilizar los diferentes e importantes esfuerzos que instrumentaron la mayoría de los municipios en Jalisco para hacer frente a la pandemia. |
